Meet the Team
NICHOLAS M. FOBE
grew up in Belgium, where he learned French, Flemish, English and German. Through his Uruguayan wife, he is currently improving his Spanish. In part because of his international background, Mr. Fobe has developed an interest in how U.S. laws (federal and state) affect non-U.S. citizens living in the United States. Mr. Fobe studied law at the universities of Fordham (NY), Georgetown (DC) and Exeter (UK) and is admitted to the DC, Maryland and Virginia bars. He is a sought-after lecturer on Trust and Estates, Estate and Gift Taxation at International Organizations including the World Bank, IMF, IDB, OAS, PAHO and their respective credit unions. Mr. Fobe has taught a course on Wills and Estates for the Paralegal program at Georgetown University. He recently became Of Counsel with Chisholm Law Group, LLC.
